Roles
Game Analyst/Tester: Lydia
I will have to check and test technical standards in gameplay, graphics, sound and functionality during the development of our game. Via usability testing I have the chance to uncover errors to make the game as user-friendly as possible. So I will have to be able to think logically and analytically in a problem-solving environment. When I'm dealing with usability tester, good social skills are very important.


Game Artist/Modeler
... is responsible for the visual design of the game. He has to define how the characters, the objects and backgrounds look like.
The game artist/modeler has to be imaginative and creative. It is important to have good professional skills concerning 3-D-, Visualization- and Image-editing-programes.

Game Programmer/Designer: Steffi
My responsibility is to invent new levels, think about the physical appearance of the different worlds and most important: to write it down. Due to those design documents the team is able to see the current status and the development of the game. Skills like creativity, inventiveness and reliability play an essential part in my role.

Game Producer/Manager: Viktoria
I will have to align all dates and members of the group so everybody will know the ongoing process and her responsibilities. I have to do the project and resource management and gernerally a manager has a liaison to the publisher of the game. I also have to think about the packaging, distribution and the marketing.

Game Discribtion
After intensive discussions, we finally found a game-topic, everybody is quite satisfied with.

The discribtion of our game in two sentences:
In the dull and dirty City of London in the year 1899 the orphan Dorian starts out to lift his familiy secret. On the traces of his ancestors, he enters the facinating world of artistry.


In more detail, the game is about a 10 year old boy who’s parents died when there house burned down eight years ago. Only Dorian has been saved. Since then Dorian has to live in an orphanage, the only thing which reminds him of his family is a musical clock which was a present from his parents. One day, a boy in the orphanage wants to take the musical clock to tease Dorian. In the following scuffle the musical clock falls down and bursts.
In the musical clock Dorian finds a slip of paper with a name on it: „Sir William Eastridge“.
Dorian feels that this message has a certain meaning so he starts searching the man on the paper. His journey leads him to the miracles of artistry. When he finds a further advice, he notices that he has to lift the family secret. He has to go to the national gallery to unravel a mystery. An other day he finds himself in Rome in the year 1510 where the artist Raffael is finishing his latest sculpture ...

Everytime he gets further knowledge or can solve a problem, he grows older. His mental age can be seen in his physical age.

In the end he finds out that he is a direct descendant of the artist Raffael. In addition he discovers the family’s treasure which is an incredible valueable art collection.
